From the same title of the first comic by artist Taylor McKimens. In two darkly funny stories and a series of drawings, The Drips opens up an exuberantly colored world of trailer parks, deserts, burnt out technology and toxic dust. McKimens’s hallucinatory visions are rooted deep in America’s dirty, scratched up underbelly, way out west, long past where cowboys and Dodge trucks have long since ceased to tread.
This comic book, with it’s deliberate pacing and dense, acute drawings, will resonate long after you’ve intitially imbibed it.
