Today’s environment plays an integral role in the development of my artwork. People, places and things from everyday life provide a rich source of material from which to draw on. Friends, popular culture, current events, social issues and Hispanic culture highlight some of the topics I examine. My cast of characters confront life with a twist from my imagination. My aim is to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
